The upcoming tree planting on 21 March 2009 in conjunction with World Forestry Day will be the culmination of a series of tree planting activities that commenced on 13 December 2008 with the planting of 1,500 Mahang seedlings over 2.5 hectares and the 4,500 seedlings planted on 21 February 2008 over an area of 16 hectares.

With the collaboration of Selangor Department of Forestry, Global Environment Centre (GEC), and CIMB Islamic EcoSave – 10,000 seedlings will be planted on 21 March 2009. This continuing effort by partners of a public agency, corporate body, NGOs and the community shall further amplify the momentum for greater efforts and aspire others to join.
