Our very own SK Sri Kelana, the 1st SMART Ranger School in Malaysia, has won the State level competition and is now competing with 13 other schools on the National Level for the prestigous Sekolah Lestari Award. Ever since 2004 when they first embarked on the SMART Ranger Program, they have continued their efforts in being a sustainable school and have initiated many other activities and campaigns to raise awareness of the school children and staff. GEC would like to congratulate them on coming this far and wishes them the best of luck for the National level competitions!

A special thanks to the dedicated teacher, Cikgu Ong, and the headmistress, Rohayah Mohamad Sarif, for their commitment and hardwork in maintaining and developing their school as a showcase and real-life example of how schools can play a big role in shaping the minds and hearts of our future generations to care for the environment.
