The 29th United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Conference of Parties (COP29) convenes with world leaders,  environmental experts and advocates gathering to take decisive action on climate change.

This year’s conference will be a pivotal opportunity for uniting, acting

Topic:
Financing and Sustainable Practices for Climate-resilient Agrifood Systems and the Bio-Circular-Green Economy

This event is organised in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Global Environment Centre (GEC), World Bank (WB) and Mae Fah Luang Foundation (MFLF).

This collaborative event will highlight the role of financial mechanisms in achieving climate goals and fostering regional partnerships for long-term environmental sustainability through improved local level land management.

Revealing Peatland Hotspots for Climate Action: Bridging Science and Policy

This event will highlight the importance of integration, showcase available tools and data, and emphasise the urgent need for scalable financial solutions to support peatland actions that address climate change, enhance biodiversity, and ensure water security.

Focus: Building stakeholder partnerships to safeguard environment and promote sustainable management of resources (include forest, river, peatland and coastal ecosystems) through nature-based solutions, enhance environmental stewardship and capacity and encourage circular economy innovation.
