Global Environment Facility Civil Society Organization (GEF-CSO) Network (GCN) is an independent network of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) established in 1995 to facilitate civil society inputs to GEF processes.
The GEF-CSO Network currently comprises more than 500 member organizations with experience and expertise in GEFs areas of work from all regions around the world.
GEC is currently the elected Chair of the Coordination Committee of the GEF CSO Network (tenure : January 2024 – December 2025) as well as the Regional Focal Point for South East Asia region (tenure : January 2024 – December 2027).
GEC works with many organisations in implementing its programmes and projects. Currently, major partners include:
