GEC was at COP30 Belem Climate Change Conference 2025 (UNFCCC)! We co-hosted four events, i.e. two on Nov 12 and two on Nov 17 (on Peatland Breakthrough).
GEC at the UN Climate Change Conference COP29
The 29th United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Conference of Parties (COP29) convened in Baku, Azerbaijan from 11 to 22 November 2024. GEC co-organised three panel discussions (Malaysian, Thailand and GEF/Climate Fund Pavillion), an official side event and a two-day exhibition showcasing impactful work on sustainable environmental practices.
GEC at the UN Climate Change Conference COP28
The 28th Conference of Parties (COP28) took place physically in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 28 November 2023 until 10 December 2023. GEC co-organised an official side event and panel discussions including 2-day exhibition highlighting amongst others, GEC works, sustainable management of peatlands as one of the nature-based solutions for climate change and transboundary haze.
