The water stewardship initiatives are carried out through their Working Actively Through Education and Rehabilitation (W.A.T.E.R) Project, a partnership between HEINEKEN Malaysia’s corporate social responsibility arm SPARK Foundation and Global Environment Centre, an environmental NGO.

Dr. Kalithasan Kailasam, Manager for the RIVER Care Programme of GEC, lauded HEINEKEN Malaysia on the significant milestone: “This is truly a commendable and encouraging development on the path of water stewardship.”
