This project aims to ensure the continuity of community-based forest management and rehabilitation initiatives through sustainable, medium- to long-term multi-stakeholder partnerships.
Objectives:
To support peatland and forest protection through community-based fire prevention measures.

- Community awareness event
- Community patrolling activities for fire prevention
Key Outcomes:
- Conducted community awareness event on fire prevention in Klias Peninsula.
- Appointed community fire patrollers from the villages that are prone to peat forest fires.
- Installed Fire Danger Rating System (FDRS) signboards and water level marker.
